Stop Smoking with Hypnotherapy
A couple of years ago the largest study ever conducted into stopping smoking was undertaken (in the U.S.A.) It studied everything from; will power, nicotine patches, positive thinking, placebos, chewing gum etc - and the conclusion was that:
"most techniques turned out to be hopeless, hypnosis, however, came out as the most effective anti-smoking technique"
With the powerful Smoking Cessation techniques that I use, 95% of smokers find it easy to quit - in just one session!
so … why do you want to quit?
Maybe it is for health or financial reasons—there is more than one death every 5 minutes of smoking related illness—there is only a 6% survival rate for lung cancer. Deaths through smoking outweigh deaths from Road Accidents, Alcohol, Drug Abuse, Aids and Suicide. Maybe it is because it is becoming more and more difficult to smoke in public places and at the homes of friends who are non-smokers.
why is it so hard to quit?
In my experience, most people find it hard to give up smoking. You might like it. You might need it. You might even love it! You might have done it for years and years. It helps you to relieve stress and tension. It makes you feel confident, when you are feeling insecure. It calms you down when you've been feeling anxious. It acts as a reward after a tough day at work. It makes you feel 'whole', and 'complete'. (We could go on and on and on here).
Giving up by just will-power alone (even with aids such as patches) is really hard because you need to keep on thinking about what to stop doing in order not to do it! The brain doesn’t recognise a negative—for instance, if I say to you “do not think about a big pink elephant with purple ears”, the chances are you have just thought about just that!
Hypnotherapy for smoking cessation is so successful, because you do receive immediate rewards for your efforts; you feel an intense sense of pride and satisfaction, you receive an immediate boost to your willpower, you gain a huge amount of confidence in your ability to remain a non smoker, situations that used to make you feel stressed or anxious, now just relax you, this list could go on and on and on...… You just don’t want or need to smoke any more!
Ask yourself this:
... if you received a fantastic sense of well-being, calmness, pride and satisfaction every time you find yourself in a situation where you used to have a cigarette, why would you want or need to smoke again?
