Penny Albertella MIAH FCIPD

Penny has worked as a coach, therapist and consultant with individuals, executives and leaders in global organisations throughout Europe, America, Africa and the Middle East.  She now concentrates on hypnotherapy at her practices in Brixham and Torquay and Exeter.

She has a unique set of skills bringing together the disciplines of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, NLP, counselling and coaching, in order to work with people in a way which promotes real change and growth in a very short period of time.

Penny is friendly, relaxed and very empathetic , but will challenge your thinking at the same time!

She has a Diploma in Hypnotherapy & Hypno-Analysis – gained through continuous study and training with the Hypnotherapy Control Board (Europe’s largest Hypnotherapy school), and is also a Member of the International Association of Hypno-Analysts (MIAH), which was established in 1981, and is probably the largest group of Analytical Hypnotherapists in existence. The Hypnotherapy Control board is the ONLY school which teaches 'pure' hypno-analysis. She is also a licensed NLP Practitioner (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and has studied TFT.

The International Association of Hypnoanalysts (IAH) has a strict code of ethics, that all Members must abide by, which includes a ‘transparent’ complaints and disciplinary procedure. As an added safety measure, all Members are checked against the Department of Health’s ‘Protection of Children Act List System’ (POCALS – the ‘offender register’)

Finally, all IAH Members have undergone their own ‘training therapy’, attend regular supervision and are committed to on-going training.
